COF’s will start at 08:30
R637-00 for all vessels up to 6 meter in length.
R996-00 for vessels over and up to 9 meters.
You can pay cash or by EFT.
A copy of the previous COF and the buoyancy certificate is needed.
Please print the SAMSA Safety Survey Category R, document and complete.

Please have the vessels out of the lockers—garages. (Vessels must be open—covers off.)
All equipment packed out and marked with the vessel registration number.
The owner or a representative must be present when the survey gets done.
The boat must be cleaned and open for a full side view photo.
All equipment packed out on table or on covered ground.
All documents completed and copy of buoyancy certificate must be given to the surveyor.
The surveyor needs a copy of the previous COF document.
The surveyor also needs a copy of the vessels in date buoyancy certificates.
With change of ownership, they need the Change of Ownership document completed and signed by both parties.
A letter of sale is required when the boat is purchased or sold.
Complete the Category R forms, one per vessel.
Buoyancy certificate renewal is R450.
Buoyancy certificate correction is R250.
New buoyancy certificate with Calculations, heeling test is R1550-00.
